Philosophy

Kids naturally want to learn, and all parents are capable of homeschooling. And there are countless “right” ways to do it.

Learning happens all the time, to all of us. Homeschooling can be more than a method or set of curriculum, but also a means of viewing the world: our neighbors, the natural environment, our families, and our experiences. Everything and everyone is educational.

I have worked with a variety of homeschooling families over the last decade, and have experience in and understanding of many curricula, methods, and models. The great advantage of homeschooling is that it can be individualized, holistic, responsive, and place-based.
